1 of mine is definitly homemade macaroni and cheese. I know its not the best meal for me but man its so good.

So what are some of yours?

Post 2 by Striker (Consider your self warned, i'm creative and offensive like handicap porn.) on Wednesday, 02-Mar-2011 12:46:41

Completely agreed. This also applies to pasta to a lesser extent. Hmm, others are probably pizza, boneless wings, mabie oreos. And if drinks count, coke and DR pepper are on the list.
Yeh, I've got issues, though i'm glad i've bitten back on that urge to find comfort food when i'm extremely depressed to quite a degree.

Post 3 by DRUM GODDESS (I can't call it a day til I enter the zone BBS) on Wednesday, 02-Mar-2011 13:49:39

Oh yeah there's nothing like a late night snack of oreos and milk. Yum yum.

some of my comfort foods include pizza, pasta, mashed potatoes, and anything with chocolate, and my drink of choice would be coffee.

Post 8 by turricane (happiness and change are choices ) on Monday, 14-Mar-2011 13:14:51

mashed potatoes and gravy, spaghetti with meat sauce, chili, fried chicken, and mixed nuts. hot or iced tea for the drink please.

I have a friend who, swear to god, insists that her comfort foods are top ramen and spaghetti-os with meat balls. now that is sad.

Hmm. One of my favorite comfort foods is Pizza Hut Pizza with a side of their breadsticks with cheese. Other favorites include my mom's homemade Mac and Cheese (usually with a couple hotdogs on the side), mashed taters with gravy, chicken wings, oven roasted taters with butter and parmesane cheese. My most favorite comfort beverage is either hot cocoa or hot apple cider, followed on the list by Dr. Pepper, Pepsi and occasionally root beer.

Post 16 by LeoGuardian (You mean there is something outside of this room with my computer in it?) on Tuesday, 22-Mar-2011 18:04:07

Glad to hear from my daughter the other day she has fond memories of homemade macaroni and cheese with hot dogs. I didn't tell her sometimes those hot dogs were actually pork sausage, lest she pull a very teenage 'eeew' but ... fond memories at 16? Hmm. Nice, anyway.

I usually don't use food for comfort, music, writing, reading, but not food. though I am a big tea and when I use to drink coffee, coffee person, both of those. I always think drinking something very hot will help relax the tention when you're upset.

Post 20 by SatansProphet (Forever in the service of Satan, my King...) on Tuesday, 21-Feb-2012 0:39:51

Post 23 by OceanDream (An Ocean of Thoughts) on Saturday, 24-Mar-2012 2:13:33

Almonds, almonds, and more almonds. Obsessed much? Perhaps, but I love them! O, I love potato chips too, plain and BBQ being my two favorite flavors, but almonds are way healthier, and usually less messy, especially the raw ones. MMM!

O, and of course, a relaxing evening, kicking back on the couch with a movie wouldn't be complete without popcorn, at least for me.

Post 24 by little foot (Zone BBS is my Life) on Monday, 26-Mar-2012 9:16:48

I like a lot of foods but my favorite food is pizza.
I just can't get enough of it.

Post 25 by turricane (happiness and change are choices ) on Saturday, 31-Mar-2012 21:24:16

Post 26 by Reyami (I've broken five thousand! any more awards going?) on Wednesday, 07-Nov-2012 5:52:58

Nothing beats hot miso soup, and a bit of warm sake to go with it.

Post 29 by softy5310 (Fuzzy's best angel) on Sunday, 07-Apr-2013 14:26:33

My favorite comfort foods are... Pretty much everything!! Toasted cheese sandwiches, cream of mushroom soup or tomato soup, chocolate, milk or dark, mexican food, chips and my homemade guacamole, pizza, spaghetti and meatballs, or pasta in general, like alfredo and such, my best friends' homemade macaroni and cheese, hotdogs, burgers and fries, corn dogs, chicken strips, fish and chips, clam strips, clam chowder, anything baked of any sort practically, potato chips with sour cream to dip them in, and the list goes on forever, lol. I love dark chocolate covered almonds too and malted milk balls, as well as milk and dark chocolate withpeanut butter and/or mint. i'm going to make a chocolate peanut butter pie today from scratch. Sooo yummy!!!
Take Care,
Dawnielle

I think one of mine is to make up a couple grilled cheese sandwiches. Either that or get out my quesadilla maker and make up one or two of those.

Post 35 by GreenTurtle (Music is life. Love. Vitality.) on Saturday, 30-Nov-2013 17:50:00

I know this is weird, but if I'm feeling really down, I want chicken tenders and fries to comfort me. Lol. I guess it's one of those things I never let go of from childhood.
Hot chocolate is a comforting drink, too.

Post 36 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Thursday, 12-Dec-2013 21:19:21

I can agree on both there Turtle.
